Can you imagine ordering a pizza? Then the pizza guy showed up in front of your house, and he's got your pizza but not the box. He just held it on his bare hand. Maybe you will be confused, and the first thing you would ask is: "where's the pizza?". Then the pizza guy said: "You only ordered this pepperoni pizza. You didn't order the box. And here's you got what you ordered". I will let you imagine what you guys would do to the pizza guy.
What I'm trying to say is that the box is much cheaper than the pizza. Maybe it's only 50 cents while the pizza costs 10 bucks. It is not very valuable if we look at the price. But it holds tremendous important value because of what is placed in. The box doesn't give value to the product, it is the product that gives value to the box.
The fact is we are only the vessel and Christ is in us. So we shouldn't get puffed up when God starts using us. We are just the 50 cents box. You don't have to be great, good looking, smart, or super talented. But like what the box needs to be, we just need to be CLEAN and EMPTY. By making it empty and clean, God can fill our life with everything good for His glory.
